
"Seed of Culture" competition
The “Seed of Culture” competition (CGC) is a competition open to all
high school levels, bringing together all students with a fairly general knowledge
rich and willing to participate in regional competitions. This competition is
will take place over 3 stages:
A) Selection:
- Selection test:
For the sake of fairness, the selections will be made through written tests. The trial
of selection of the CGC consists of 4 distinct parts:
Part 1: 10 questions in the form of multiple choice questions covering all areas. (Mandatory)
Part 2: 10 questions to be answered with True or False divided into 2 tables each
in a field chosen at random for each session. (Mandatory)
Part 3: 15 questions asked to be answered with an answer
complete. (Mandatory)
Part 4: 2 questions to be answered in the form of an essay, citing
exclusively the most striking details. (Optional)
The scale of this selection test is defined as follows:
- If part 4 is not carried out:
Part 1 (20 Points)
Part 2 (20 Points)
Part 3 (30 Points)
Part 4 (0 Points)
Total (70 Points)
- If part 4 is performed:
Part 1 (20 Points)
Part 2 (30 Points)
Part 3 (30 Points)
Part 4 (10 Points)
Total (90 Points)
Part 4 may have more than 15 questions in some sessions.
Note that for this session, during the correction, the questions to which the
respondents would not have performed well in part 3 will be deleted
until you reach the minimum of 15 questions.
- Announcement of results:
The results of the selection tests will be announced on the official website of the Committee
Organization of Competitions and Competitions (COCC), tab "Info
contest ”then“ Contest 'Seed of Culture' ”then“ Account ”. Select by
the icon corresponding to your registration number then insert your code
confidential which was sent to you by email when you registered.
- Selection criteria :
The access thresholds for the next step are:
GSC without Part 4: 70 points out of 90. (70 includes)
CGC with Part 4: 55 points out of 70. (55 includes)
Once the results are announced, three buttons will appear on your account depending on your
note:
a) Your score is above the threshold:
Two buttons will appear; One offering to continue participating in the competition
by sending this score to the Jury, the second, the other to withdraw your file.
b) Your score is below the threshold:
Two buttons will appear; One offers to take the test again, the other to
withdraw your file.
The Jury will select at most 20 candidates.
- Conditions for passing the test:
1. The candidate must be a student registered with the Groupe Scolaire d'Anfa M'Hamed Bennis.
2. The candidate cannot take the test two (2) times on the same day.
3. Applicants are prohibited from taking the test more than three (3) times.
4. All electronic devices are prohibited on the day of the test.
5. To register, the candidate must consult the COCC website and complete the forms
proposed.
6. Registration for sessions will close one day before said sessions.
7. No unregistered candidate will be allowed to take the test.
B) Organization of an intermediate competition:
Once the candidates have been selected, the COCC will organize an evaluation day
whose information will be revealed later.
C) Qualification for the HEM general culture competition:
In the event that the HEM school organizes this prestigious competition, the COCC
will present in favorites the candidates having reached the final tests.
